The Inspiration Behind Pack-A-Paw
The idea for Pack-a-Paw began after I learned about an injured dog whose owner was unable to carry him down from a mountain. It made me think about how I would handle the same emergency with my own dog. Leaving her behind would never be an option, but safely getting her off the trail could be a serious challenge. After years of hiking and trail running thousands of miles, that question ultimately inspired me to develop the Pack-a-Paw rescue harness.
